Group project, 1st semester, bachelor at DTU
A seating solution to help people with disabilities move around the city of Copenhagen by giving them the option of a short rest. Attaches to lamp posts to allow for easy setup and flexibility, as well as reducing costs for foundations for traditional seating like benches.
The height is easily adjusted, and the angle of the seat makes it easy to sit and stand. Integrating an IoT solution would allow for placement around the city according to use and needs.
The design was awarded 50.000 DKK in funding.
